Shoreline
The sky is dark and becomes light,
Day breaks in from darkest night.
I dig my feet into the sand,
I feel the sea meet with the land.
I kneel into the ocean spray,
I feel the dawn of a thousand days,
We’re bound to the earth by a single strand,
I feel the sea meet with the land.
The seagulls fly into the clouds,
I look ahead and feel so proud,
For miles it flows, I understand,
I feel the sea meet with the land.
I call my wishes to the ocean deep,
It carries them as far as I can see,
There is no moment that is more grand,
To feel the sea meet with the land.
